CO-Founder

Junior Cyrus Baron is a sound mixer who was born in Haiti and came to live in America when he was 8 years old. Raised in Brooklyn New York, he did 4 years at college before getting his first deal as a producer for Sony Epic for an artist called Siamese at the age of just 18.

He later joined Booga basement Refugee Camp and was signed as a producer at Interscope, working with various artists like The Fugees, Canabis, Missy Elliot, Timberland, and many others.

In 2004 Junior got his big break in the film industry as a set dresser. He has worked on numerous big-budget movies, TV series, and documentaries in the United States since 2008. Starting from humble beginnings, today he is perhaps best known for his work on blockbuster movies such as John Wick, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Man in Black 3.

Now Junior, along with co-founder Frantz baron and with years of top-level experience behind him, has embarked on opening his very own sound stage. Baron Stages is a space where he hopes to attract clients who are interested in producing their own high-quality video, music and photography, and help them to bring their visions to life.

In his free time, Junior likes to create music and work out to keep in shape. He enjoys listening to audiobooks, investing in technology, and giving something back by teaching the community about sound and film. Frantz Baron

CO-Founder

Haitian born converting nothing to something.

Frantz Baron has always been passionate about helping people and improving his community. Born in Haiti and raised in Brooklyn, having a career in music and the big screen were goals of his at an early age. The Baron brothers formed an R&B group in their teens, and Frantz’s love for music and the stage only blossomed from there. Since then, he’s expanded his creative endeavors to include acting in both stage and screenplays, and Co-founding DTB Entertainment. He’s been cast in several television shows like Law and Order, and most notably, Power. His time onset not only fed his desire to act but sparked an interest in set creation and design. More importantly he saw the need to create a space for young, black, creative talent to hone their skills in their own community. As a result, Baron Stages was born.

The 5000 square foot space, complete with glam room, green room, and a digital wall is located in Mount Vernon, NY; an ideal location for local up and coming artists throughout the tri-state area. Prop rentals and event space rental is also available. Frantz’s vision for Baron Stages is the opportunity for black creatives that he and his brother never had, and change the landscape for young, black, local talent, all while empowering his community.
